Local Kare Plus branch set for expansion

The Milton Keynes branch of national care personnel provider Kare Plus is expanding into new premises after a hugely successful first 14 months of trading.

The move, which is being supported by a funding deal from Royal Bank of Scotland, will see the company move from their existing offices in Newport Pagnell to much larger premises on Swanwick Lane in Broughton.

With over 40 franchise branches nationally, Kare Plus provides staffing solutions to local hospitals, private health, nursing and home care facilities.

The Milton Keynes branch was launched in February 2015 by local businessman Saty Madhav and has grown rapidly since that time, with turnover achieved double the level initially forecasted. The branch has also just launched a domiciliary care service, having obtained CQC registration.

In April 2016 a second Kare Plus franchise was launched by Mr Madhav in Banbury. Offering the same services as Milton Keynes, it is hoped that the business will repeat its success in this area.

Over 100 nurses and care workers are now employed by the firm across the two offices.

Saty Madhav, owner of Kare Plus Milton Keynes and Bedford said: “I am so pleased with the success that we have had during the last 14 months since we opened our first Kare Plus franchise in Milton Keynes. Turnover during that time is double our initial forecasts and the business has grown strongly.

“The move to new premises is very significant for the company and it is great that we have been able to invest in owning our own property. The new premises offer plenty of space for the business’ future expansion and should accommodate us for many years to come.

“Royal Bank of Scotland has been extremely supportive of my business since day one, providing funding for the initial launch of the franchise as well as supporting me to acquire the new premises.”

Paul Andrews, Healthcare Manager at Royal Bank of Scotland, said: “Saty has shown strong management and business skills during the 14 months since he opened the Kare Plus franchise in Milton Keynes and it is great that the business has flourished so quickly.

“Supporting local companies throughout every step of their development is what we are about and I am glad that we are continuing to work with Saty as the business expands. The new premises are excellent and will provide plenty of space for the future growth.”
