Support in the community

There is a range of services available within communities across Shropshire to promote community engagement for those living with dementia.

The local Alzheimer’s Society offers support workers, dementia cafes, peer support groups, Singing for the Brain sessions and carers’ support groups. People with dementia and their carers can also access these to get practical information and support. These resources also offer activities and signposting to other Shropshire services.
