Your support, your choice in Surrey
Our starting point
The Adult Social Care service at the county council is here to help people most in need of support and carers of all ages to help them remain safe, well and independent in the communities where they live.
We offer a range of services for residents, including information and advice, short-term assistance for you to regain independence after an illness or accident, assistance with care and support to those that are eligible and have more complex needs, and support to carers and young carers.
Our approach is person-centred, focusing on what has the biggest impact on your wellbeing and independence. Any support offered to you is likely to be co-ordinated by a range of professionals, as we work more closely together with health partners and local agencies and networks to provide a ‘circle of support’ that is community-based and focused on your needs.
