Care Types: Supported Living
Progress Housing Group provide housing for people with a learning disability and/or mental health conditions throughout the UK.
They provide specialist housing tailored to meet the needs of individuals with housing that is fully accessible and adapted to meet the needs of people with physical disabilities.
Progress Housing have over 3,200 units of supported living accommodation across the country and work in over 100 local authority areas.
Most of the housing is within a ‘shared living’ arrangement, whereby people rent one room in a house and share communal areas with others. Typically there will also be a sleep-in room for a support worker and tenants will all be in receipt of a care support package funded through their local authority.
They also have a significant amount of self-contained accommodation too, where residents can live alone or within a block and have their own kitchen, bathroom and bedroom and still receive support.
