In a spectacular location at the foot of the North Downs, The Dynes is a two-storey home providing respite and residential care to up to 35 older people.

The Dynes has a number of homely seating areas and lounges and beautiful outside space including a spacious garden and recently renovated courtyard. The home’s activity coordinator provides residents with a varied calendar of events and outings, including cake decorating, smoothie making, boat trips, parties and cheese and wine nights!

Each bedroom is carpeted, furnished and fitted with a sink for convenience, though many of the rooms feature an en-suite. Residents are encouraged to bring their identity to the home and decorate their room to their own taste, with their own furnishings.

Guests are welcome to join residents in their room at any time as visiting hours are not restricted, we find that our open door policy helps us to create a community within the home.

Staff at the home manage all cleaning and laundry, however, residents sometimes like to help out and carry on a part of their routine.

We feel pets are important to our residents’ well-being and here at The Dynes we have our resident cat, who provides companionship for our residents.

All residents have push buttons attached to the cord bleeps installed in their room.
