Acorn Court in Redhill, Surrey, boasts a close-knit environment with highly trained and compassionate individuals cherry picked to work at the mature care home.

Stylishly decorated and furnished to an exceptionally high standard, the home offers residential, nursing and dementia care.

Acorn Court has picked up many awards along the way, which are testament to the excellent service it provides. These include the Caring Times National Award for Care Manager of the Year, a Surrey Care Association Award and the Great British Award for Registered Manager of the Year.

The family-orientated setting sees residents’ families as an integral part of life. A Relatives’ Support Group provides welcome support to those new to the home from families that have been in the same boat. They can provide advice, answer questions on what to expect, and assure you that everything will be okay.

Among the many facilities, the home features a well-stocked library where residents can enjoy quiet time or a bar for social interaction. It also proves a popular venue for hosting intimate private parties. The most recent were centenary birthday parties for two of the residents.

The weekly planned activities programme is full and varied. Residents can also go on outings which are arranged three times a week. These include local trips like canal boat rides, visits to garden centres and greyhound racing, and museums and galleries.
