Allington Court is purpose-built to care for those with dementia providing residential and nursing care for both long and short stays.

Everything is on one floor and the building has a circular design, making it easier for residents to find their way around.

The staff want residents to feel at ease and enjoy being here, whether that’s for a week of respite or they’re making a long-term move.

Situated within 13 acres of well-maintained gardens, the home offers a countryside feel, within a few minutes’ drive from the busy M25.

Staff can help residents with dementia to lead a better quality of life. With the help of their loved ones, they’ll build a picture of their life story and their likes and dislikes.

Staff can then personalise care and help them live the way they want to. Communication and engagement is a big part of life here, too. So if your loved one finds it easier to use signs and symbols to communicate, our team are happy to use Makaton.

There’s always lots going on within the welcoming community. Staff run activities seven days a week and frequently join neighbouring Bupa care home, Tenterden House (offering nursing and residential care), for a range of engaging events and the occasional themed meal.
