Arden House is a large, detached residential care home in Bexhill boasting a secure garden with fish pond.

The station is just a five-minute walk away and the local church at the end of the road offers many activities which are enjoyed by our residents.

Accommodation at Arden House is of substantial proportions, with some of the 32 rooms benefiting from their own private conservatories. Other downstairs rooms also have patio doors which lead out onto the garden. Many rooms towards the south side of the house have sea views or look onto and over the bowling green. All the rooms are en-suite, some equipped with a full bathroom or shower room.

Communal areas include a vast dining area and two lounges in which residents can relax or enjoy a game of bingo. All communal areas of the house and garden are accessible either via the passenger lift or gentle ramps. The bedrooms have a 24 hour call bell installed for added peace of mind.

Meals from the extensive menus are high quality, varied and nourishing. Hot and cold food and beverages are available throughout the course of the day.

At Arden House, our residents tend to be somewhat younger than those in traditional care homes. They are able to lead an active and sociable life in a safe environment, facilitated by our friendly yet professional staff members.

Arden House is particularly ideal for residents living with a history of alcohol abuse, mild learning disabilities, acquired brain injury and various degrees of mental illness. Living here is all about the right balance of residents making it a busy, dynamic and fun home which is full of energy and life.
