Awel-Y-Mor Care Home is situated in Swansea, Wales. We welcome young, physically disabled adults with complex disabilities.
We also provide care for up to 3 clients with learning disabilities, 15 elderly frail clients and we have the facilities to care for bariatric clients.
Awel-Y-Mor provides high quality person-centred care for younger adults with complex needs. Such acquired brain injury, Huntingtons’, multiple sclerosis and motor neurone disease. We understand that each resident has individual care requirements, and we provide the surroundings and the skilled staff that help those we support to maintain as much independence as possible.
Furthermore, our unique care options are designed to offer residents an excellent, person-centred experience at our home. Staff are always happy to offer helpful advice if you’re ever unsure of anything and are trained to provide a range of different services to those we support.
Additionally, our activities team are great at building the activities programme around the likes and interests of the people we care for. We also believe it’s important that those we support can enjoy an active and social lifestyle. Of course, we will always offer a cup of tea for those who prefer peace and quiet.
Moreover, our irresistible cuisine is prepared with only the very best fresh, seasonal produce. Our menu will satisfy even those with the smallest of appetites; from breakfast through to dinner, residents can discover something different with fresh flavour and lovely presentation.
