Carers Trust Cambridgeshire, Peterborough, Norfolk provides tailored care and support to people of all ages in their own homes and the community.
From regular once a week visits to multiple visits every day, our Care Workers offer a service that is personal to the individual and meets their and their family’s needs.
We believe in working closely with the family and the person with care needs to enable them to live the lives they choose.
Our professional Care Workers provide an individualised high-quality care service to support people with care needs with personal care, specialist dementia care, medication assistance, shopping, trips out, meal preparation and light domestic chores. We carefully match our Care Workers with clients to ensure continuity of support so that they become a familiar face that you can trust.
The minimum care visit we provide is one hour. We believe that our clients should be supported with dignity and respect and this time allows our staff to build a rapport, relationship and understanding of the individual’s needs, which is especially important for people living with Dementia. 98% of our clients say that we help maintain their quality of life. 100% of our clients say that we help maintain their quality of life and 99% say we treat them with dignity and respect.
We run Day Clubs in Fenland and Cambridge for people with care needs which are staffed by our trained Care Workers. The Clubs give family carers regular respite, enabling them some time to themselves to take part in a hobby, attend appointments or even just have a rest at home knowing they can switch off for a few hours.
We also support family carers of all ages with information, advice and support ranging from Family Carers’ Prescriptions for a short break or information, emergency planning “What If? Plan” and peer support at family carers hubs and young carers groups.
We offer support throughout the whole of Peterborough and also have branches in Cambridgeshire and Norfolk.
