Culrose House Residential Care home is blessed with a lovely rural location where your loved one will enjoy peace, quiet and fresh air. Set in an acre of grounds on the outskirts of Dickleburgh the home has spectacular views over the Dickleburgh Moors.

Despite the rural location access along the A140 is easy with Long Stratton just 6 miles South and Diss on the Norfolk/Suffolk border just a 10 minute drive to the North.

The Rooms
All rooms are spacious with a light and airy feel and many have sweeping views across the open countryside bay or garden. Whichever they choose, your loved one’s room will be tastefully decorated and well equipped with everything they need for daily life.

All rooms have a super comfy bed and feature LED spot lights fitted with a dimmer switch so your loved one can adjust the light volume to their preference and a table lamp for the evening. Each room has 24 hour alarm system so they can call for assistance around the clock, if needed. There is a TV sockets and Flat screen TV as well as Wi-fi for free usage.

The Garden
The home itself is fully renovated and well appointed with excellent facilities. If your loved one likes living in the countryside, they will love it at Culrose House.

The home has a large garden to the rear that enjoys views across the open countryside beyond. There are plants and trees that provide summer colour and attract all manor of interesting wildlife.

In summer the garden is used for parties and has plenty of room for tables with parasols. So your loved one can enjoy a nice cup of tea and cake in the sunshine while having a nice natter with their fellow residents.

Life At Culrose
If your loved one likes getting involved there are many activities, visiting entertainers, games, parties and trips for them to enjoy. If they like a little pampering and treats (and who doesn’t!) we also have regular visits from the professional hair stylist and all manner of masseurs, aroma therapists and beauticians can be arranged on request for that extra special something.

For those who prefer to exercise the mind we have lots of reading material and there are lots of areas where you can settle down to read a good book or your daily paper.

For the more adventurous we have internet access so your loved one can surf the web and even Skype with you when you can’t visit personally.

The Cuisine
Head chef Rhonda Burton and her team prepare a variety of delicious and nutritious meals that will have your loved one eagerly anticipating every meal time. Ingredients are sourced locally, freshly prepared daily and served in our spacious airy dining room. This is the hub of the home and everyone looks forward to both the food and the chance to have a natter and a catch up with friends and staff members.

If your loved one has special dietary requirements we’ll make sure they’re accommodated and there are always alternatives if ever they don’t like something that’s on the day’s menu. Similarly, although Rhonda takes great care to ensure everything is fresh, your loved one can have whatever they want.

You can also rest assured that all the food is prepared in the safest, most hygienic environment since Culrose House continues to maintain its long held 5 Star food hygiene rating.
