ENA Care Group has been a trusted homecare provider in the UK for 30 years, committed to delivering outstanding Live-In Care throughout England and Wales and Hourly Care Services in our home county of Hertfordshire.

With such experience providing home care, we appreciate the difficulty in making an informed decision about your care provider, one of the most important decisions you will make. At ENA, we want to make that decision as straightforward as possible by offering a service which is trusted to provide transparency and trust and puts you in charge of your care.

At ENA, we proudly offer outstanding care to individuals throughout England and Wales. Our packages of care provide confidence and total peace of mind to our clients while living in the comfort of their own homes, allowing them to focus on living their lives to the fullest with their Carer’s steadfast support and dedication. Our team of friendly healthcare professionals are waiting for your call today, but below are some of the factors that help us stand out against the crowd.

  • Our award-winning training team provides in-person training to all our carers, equipping them with specialised skills such as PEG feeding and medication, wound care, bowel care, diabetes care, bladder washouts, and more. All ENA clients have a bespoke training course built around their specific care requirements, ensuring peace of mind that their Carer can safely deliver the interventions and support they need.
  • Person Centred Care is our priority, and every ENA package of care is bespoke to our client’s individual needs and preferences. From day one, we work closely with our clients to ensure that their choices are respected, allowing them total flexibility and peace of mind to live on their terms.
  • The key to a successful package of care is to match each client with their perfect Carer. We match based on experience and skills and consider our client’s lifestyles and preferences, including age, personality, activity level, hobbies, interests and much more. We can provide experienced drivers when needed, and all our Carers complete basic housework and meal preparation as standard.
  • Every condition is catered for at ENA, from companionship to multiple Carer, high dependency packages. Some of our key specialities are:
    • Spinal Injuries
    • Brain Injuries
    • Dementia
    • End of Life
    • Cerebral Palsy
    • Stroke
    • Parkinson’s
    • Learning Disabilities
    • Mental Health
    • And Many More.
  •
    •
  • Every ENA live-in client is allocated a location-based, dedicated Care Manager. Your Care Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of your package of care and acts as your first point of call for anything you need, along with conducting routine home visits to review your care with you. If you need us outside of working hours, you will have full access to our 24/7 on-call emergency line, ensuring you can always reach us in a time of need.
  • We understand that emergencies happen; however, ENA clients have the peace of mind that they will never go without the support they need. We employ a dedicated team of fully trained On-Call Carers who are always on standby and travel immediately if one of our clients needs them.
  • ENA supplies an Hourly Service within Hertfordshire for those who don’t require 24/7 care or don’t have the space for a Carer in their home. Our outstanding Carers can provide everything from personal care and meals to advanced nursing care, as described above, with visits as short or as long as required.
  • We can work with any start date and even facilitate 24-hour emergency starts when needed.
  • All ENA quotes for care are competitive and all-inclusive. There are no hidden fees or nasty surprises, and industry-standard charges such as Carer food allowance and travel costs are already paid for by ENA and included in our Carer’s salaries. We also don’t charge a penny extra for bank holidays, public holidays or unsocial hours, and we provide all PPE free of charge.

We’d love to hear from you whether you are thinking about taking the first step on your ENA journey or would just like to have a chat about our service and how we can assist you. Our friendly and knowledgeable team can complete a phone assessment today in 30 minutes to provide you with a no-obligation, all-inclusive quote. You can find out more about us or submit an email enquiry by visiting our website. We look forward to hearing from you.

Our Team

Dan Baker - Director

Manager

Clare Duran - Co-Founder and Registered Manager

Co-founder and owner of the ENA Care Group. I am an active director overseeing both the service delivered to clients and carers, and the home-care team. I've been back since March 2012, after taking a ridiculously long maternity break. I jump at any opportunity to get back into uniform and brush up on my nursing skills. My role in the company is all about the service we deliver to both our clients and carers. I have a dream to become the best home-care provider in the UK and I spend most of my time troubleshooting and searching for ways to improve. My favourite part of the job is visiting and speaking to clients and carers alike. If you would like a visit or a call, please do drop me an email.

Matthew Blanche - New Client Care Manager

I started my career in care as a Healthcare Assistant back in 2012 with what was supposed to be a temporary role but went on for almost 4 years working across different wards from the busy A&E/ITU units to oncology and dementia care. I knew early on that it was the sense of reward I got from helping others and setting a high standard of care that kept me interested in the care industry and led to several other roles, from leading small teams in a care home to studying part of my nursing degree. My most recent position before ENA saw me coordinating complex packages of care for clients based in the community for one of the biggest healthcare providers in the country. In January 2021, I began my journey with ENA as a Case Manager and hope to not only bring with me the knowledge and experience I've gained over the years but also to learn from my very talented new colleagues to help make ENA as outstanding and progressive as possible. In my spare time, I enjoy making the most of what the West Country has to offer, particularly exploring my new home city of Bath and spending as much time as possible with my family and friends. I look forward to seeing more of the world; my favourite destination so far was Iceland — it was like walking on another planet.

Gerard Santos - Care Manager

My name is Gerard, and I joined the ENA Care Group in June 2018. I have been working in healthcare since 1996. I started as a care assistant and, over the years, have gradually worked my way up to become a service manager in residential and supported-living care. My background is with adults with learning difficulties and complex needs, which I truly love. After taking some time out in 2010, I returned to care by trying live-in care as well as office work as an assistant to my then-deputy manager. I enjoy my position with ENA immensely, looking after the south of England: Surrey, Hampshire, Kent, and Cambridgeshire. Care is the only thing I know and thrives on, so I plan to be around for a long while yet. I love travelling and meeting new people, be it in my private time or for work.

Caroline Coveney - Care Manager

Hello! My name is Caroline; I am a Sociology graduate currently living in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. To date, I have worked for over ten years in the healthcare industry, including frontline care, coordination and management, and I have worked in community, residential and complex settings. At eighteen, I moved to London to study Sociology at Goldsmiths, University of London, and I worked as a healthcare assistant in the community whilst studying for my degree. After graduating, I travelled to South America for one year and, on returning, moved to Hampshire and took on the role o Patient Service Administrator at Southampton General Hospital. Since then, I have lived in Somerset and Gloucestershire and have worked as a Care Coordinator and Reablement Lead for healthcare companies based in Bristol and Cheltenham, respectively. These experiences have engendered in me a talent for listening and building trust and have provided me with a strong awareness of and passion for the safeguarding of vulnerable individuals. I am delighted to have joined the ENA family as a Care Manager. Community-based care is a unique field rich with meaning and the power to make a difference, and I am honoured to be able to play such an integral role in keeping vulnerable adults and families together.

“I was looking for a job abroad, and it’s been my dream to work in the UK. I wanted to move here for better personal and career development. After my research, i found ENA Care Group Ltd, or they found me, lol. The international recruitment process was so smooth and swift, i remember even shedding some tears of joy. ENA gave me a chance to migrate with my son, and to give us better opportunities. I enjoy working for ENA Care group. In this job role i get to make a person's life easier and better. Most of the work is centred on the person i take care of, which suits me fine. The training i have received and continue to receive at ENA has equipped me for the role i am in. When i need advice there is help from the office who are very friendly and supportive. My wages come on time and well explained. I look forward to a mutually fulfilling working relationship here at ENA. xx

I joined ENA in June 2022 with my little experience in care. I was given extensive training in both theory and practical and I now feel more confident in my job. Because of how intense the training was, I’m considering further studies to become a nurse. At ENA, there is an opportunity for career progression, high value for both staff and clients and also someone friendly at the end of the phone to deal with concerns. I'm happy to find myself in this team and I look forward to a long career with ENA.
