Exodus Homecare Agency is a responsive and caring agency providing 24-hour, Live-in care and Homecare services in Central, West and North London.

Established since 2010, we offer our round-the-clock home care services to a wide variety of clients with varying needs.

Exodus Homecare Agency supports service users aged 18 years and above. We respond to service users’ needs and queries promptly to ensure their individual needs are met. We have a dedicated, experienced team led by a Registered Manager with 20 plus years experience.

We have reviewed all our policies and procedure to ensure that staff undergo through vigorous DBS Check, Test and trace. We place our service users safety at the heart and centre of the service.

Exodus Homecare Agency Ltd aims to ensure that service users receive the best possible care; whether they require short term/ long term care. We support you with both physical and domestic help, in the comfort of your own home.
Our values are integral to our service and our service users wishes are central to this. We treat our service users with dignity and respect, and promote choice and independence. We always ensure that our service users are made comfortable as possible in their homes. Clients are able to choose their own carer.

Covid-19 Information

Exodus Homecare Agency Limited is prepared for the possibility that, in order to relieve pressure on the frontline services, there may be an increased demand for care from Exodus Homecare Agency ltd. This may include receiving Service Users back from hospital or from within the community who are COVID-19 positive in order to support them in isolation.
Exodus homecare Agency will work in partnership with necessary bodies such as Public Health England and the NHS to support this, whilst ensuring the wellbeing and safety of its other Service User and staff.

Exodus Homecare Agency ltd understand that staff, Service Users and their families will understandably feel concern about the risk posed by accepting Service User from hospital or within the community who either have symptoms, have no symptoms and have not been tested or who have had COVID-19 and are no longer symptomatic.
Exodus Homecare Agency Ltd, there is an obligation to protect the NHS for the most critically ill and will ensure that robust risk assessment with stringent infection control and personal protective equipment are in place to ensure that Exodus Homecare Agency Ltd can support the national effort to manage the COVID 19 pandemic.

Accepting back Service Users from Hospital:

  • Exodus Homecare Agency Ltd understand the requirement to complete the CQC, online form and will aim to remain open the new Service Users as much as possible during the pandemic to support pressures on the NHS and other services.
  • Exodus Homecare Agency will ensure that a risk assessment is carried out with staff availability, the ability to isolate the Service User and the availability of suppliers, including personal protective equipment, considered.
  • All individuals discharged from hospital will be tested and can be safely discharged as long as guidance on PPE is correctly followed by Exodus Homecare Agency. All staff will be trained to follow HS11-Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Policy and Procedure in line with the control of risk and infection.

If Exodus Homecare Agency ltd agrees to accept a Service User who is COVID-19 positive, Exodus Homecare Agency will follow the procedure for supporting Service User with COVID=19as documented in the HS16-Coronavirus Policy and Procedure at Exodus Homecare Agency Ltd. If a Service User has no COVID-19 symptom or has tested positive for COVIDE-19, but no longer showing symptoms and has completed their isolation period, then care can be provided as normal following the required PPE requirement. Exodus Homecare Agency may ask the Service User, as a precaution, to isolate however, and support them as if they are COVID-19 positive.

Action Required Once the Service User is accepted:

We complete the assessment over the phone or via video conferencing. Determine if the Service User is deemed critically stable, suitable, and well enough to be discharged from hospital, Identify the level of frailty of the Service User using the Clinical Frailty Scale to ensure that there is a shared understanding between the health provider and Exodus Homecare Agency Ltd. Ensure that medication, equipment and staff with the right level of skills are considered, ensure that there is an appropriate plan for the ongoing support and management of service user.
