Glenmuir House is a residential care home in St. Leonards, Hastings.

Glenmuir House excels in caring for more dependent, frailer residents with its mobility equipment, highly trained staff and a peaceful environment. Glenmuir House takes pride in its experience and compassion during end of life care.

Care at Glenmuir House is always client led, catering not just for clients’ needs, but also helping to support their hopes, aspirations and personal standards. Residents at Glenmuir tend to prefer to spend time alone in their rooms surrounded by their personal belongings.

Home comforts such as Sky TV, landline and a daily paper can be arranged. The friendly staff teams sit and chat with the residents in their rooms, should they want some company there. Family are welcome to visit at any time and are always made to feel welcome with tea and cake.

Glenmuir House is a grand detached house decorated and furnished to a high standard with plenty of charm and splendid period features. It provides spacious communal areas, comfortable living space and 18 individually styled bedrooms. Communal space at the home includes a beautiful lounge, leading onto the patio, conservatory and front gardens.

All communal areas of the house and garden are accessible either via the passenger lift or gentle ramps. The bedrooms have en-suite toilet and washing facilities – there are also extra bathrooms on every floor. The 2nd floor rooms boast stunning views over St Leonards and beyond to the sea and South Downs. All bedrooms have a 24 hour call bell installed for added peace of mind.

Meals from the wide-ranging menus are high quality, varied and nutritious. Hot and cold food and beverages are available throughout the day in the communal areas or if residents prefer, they can remain in their rooms.
