Heathland Court Care Home is a converted private house surrounded by attractive, well-maintained gardens.
Originally a private house, you will find many of its original features, including traditional fireplaces and high ceilings inside the grand stone building.
There is plenty of communal space, with five well-furnished lounges and a conservatory for residents and families to relax and socialise.
The home also has a hostess that is always on hand and an in-house resident hairdresser that visits twice a week.
It offers long and short-term nursing (including palliative care), residential and dementia care. The home takes advance bookings and you can book a short stay up to a year in advance.
It’s close to local transport links, is a few minutes’ drive from the A3, its own dedicated car park and benefits from a bus route stopping near the home, making an ideal location for visiting family and friends.
Enjoying food is an important part of life. The chefs create well-crafted menus made with the freshest ingredients and tries to cater for all ethnicity groups. Soon after a resident arrives at the home, staff discuss their personal preferences and dietary needs with them.
There’s a real sense of community at Heathland Court. The staff work to discover what residents enjoy doing and the home’s social calendar is organised around those interests. So whether your loved one already has a hobby or would like to take up a new one, there’s lots of exciting activities to get involved in.
The activities calendar includes arts and crafts, music, flower arranging and gardening. Visiting entertainers often perform, and residents can enjoy outings to the local shops or walks in the nearby Wimbledon Park or Common.
