Honey Lane is a specialist dementia care home, which puts its residents at the heart of everything it does.

The elegant purpose-built home has been designed to offer the best in comfort and care, and our team is instrumental in making everyone feel right at home in the environment.

At Honey Lane, we make every effort to stay at the cutting edge of dementia care developments. We have been working with Dementia Care Matters to improve the quality of life of the people living here and are delighted to have achieved Butterfly Service status in June 2012. This kitemark, created by industry leader Dementia Care Matters, is the highest possible commendation of our home and recognition of the hard work of all our team.

We employ compassionate people and our specialist team is trained to make every moment count. Our home is designed to enhance the quality of life of those with dementia, maximising independence, stimulation and relaxation.

Honey Lane is purpose built with both dementia care and individual needs in mind. Our building houses some specialist facilities, such as a Snoezelen sensory room, and sensory bathrooms.

We’ve recently carried out work at Honey Lane to further enhance our environment and create cozy feature areas, to give our residents a real sense of being at home. It is also the simple touches that make our home comfortable. For example, corridors are wide, with plenty of natural daylight, which is essential for those with dementia.
