Lulworth House is a residential Home in Maidstone, providing residential care for people with Alzheimer’s and Dementia.

Originating around the 1920s, the Home and the front of the house has kept much of its original character, while the inside provides modern facilities to suit the needs of residents.

There are 38 single rooms – some of which have en-suite facilities. Families are encouraged to personalise the rooms of residents and staff do all they can to create a ‘home from home’ and help people live as independently as possible.

There is a friendly atmosphere at Lulworth House, and the Activities Co-ordinator runs a varied calendar of events that includes games, quizzes, sing-songs, cream tea dances, summer parties and barbeques. The Home also holds regular film nights, as well as a monthly entertainment evening with visits from professional performers.

There is a pleasant and spacious dining room, and residents are able to vary their seating arrangements and dine with different people. The qualified head chef prepares delicious home-cooked food, while also catering for anyone with special dietary requirements.
