Princess Christian Care Centre provides person-centred care for elderly people with Nursing needs or those who have been diagnosed with Dementia or related illnesses.

The Home is close to Woking and the villages of Bisley and Knaphill, situated in the peaceful setting of Stafford Lake in the heart of the Surrey countryside.

Princess Christian has 92 en suite bedrooms, two lounges, two dining rooms, an onsite hair salon, cinema room, sensory room and a physiotherapy treatment room.

Surrounded by countryside, the Home’s bright and spacious lounges overlook a courtyard and gardens which provide a wonderful setting for relaxing, taking part in activities or simply spending time with family and friends who are welcome to visit at any time.

Socialising forms an essential part of daily life at Princess Christian and they run a varied calendar of events – from singing and live jazz through to summer barbeques and visits from entertainers. Residents are always encouraged to remain active and pursue hobbies and interests including art, music, reading and gardening. They also arrange weekly trips by minibus to local beauty spots such as beaches, gardens and historic sites.

One of the first care providers to champion the importance of nutrition for the elderly and those with dementia, Nellsar employ a Nutrition and Wellness Manager for their Homes. Princess Christian acknowledges that nutrition and hydration are an integral part of good health and well-being and delivers well-balanced, nutritious meals and snacks to residents every day. All residents are offered a choice of food, to ensure all types of preferences and diets are catered for.

Care is round the clock, with qualified Nurses on duty 24 hours a day and highly trained care staff delivering care from a person-centred approach. Employing high-tech care planning technology, the team at Princess Christian use the ®Nourish system, spending less time on paperwork and more time caring for their residents.

They also use bespoke dementia care technology ‘interactiveMe’ as a way of further personalising their residents’ care, and as a tool for connecting individuals with their family and care staff around them. This personalised-online profile offers a wonderful tool for reminiscence too.
