Read House is a purpose-built residential home at Frinton-on-Sea.

It is designed for the care needs of elderly people with visual impairment, either on a permanent or short-stay basis.

We are an independent care home owned and managed by Essex Blind Charity, and the only centre of its kind in Essex.

However, we are happy to consider applications from people without a visual impairment who wish to find a friendly and comfortable environment, with a team of experienced care staff who are dedicated to the happiness and well-being of the residents.
