Rivermead Care Home is located in the small town of Norton, close to Malton.

It offers a range of nursing and residential care for people who require a high level of help, those with physical disabilities and those with dementia.

At Rivermead Care Home, care is based on the use of personalised care plans, drawn up with the help of the individual and their family. Qualified nurses are on hand 24 hours a day.

The home is well suited to those with high-level care needs. For example, people with long-term conditions, physical disabilities and people who have suffered a stroke.

Rivermead is built on one level with great wheelchair access throughout. The en-suite rooms come with profiling beds and nurse call systems. All are comfortably furnished and residents are also welcome to bring their own furniture to personalise their space.

An exciting and varied activities programme is on offer for those who wish to get involved. As well as landscaped gardens, there is a sensory garden and lounges for residents. Daycare services are also available at this home.
