The Boynes is a substantial country residence combining classic English styling with a profusion of character.

This unique dwelling is in an enviable position with panoramic views of the Malvern Hills.

The gardens and grounds boast large sweeping lawns with an abundance of fine mature trees and shrubs, extending to about four acres.

Perfectly located for Upton-On-Severn, situated only a short distance from the banks of the River Severn, the Home is a 10-minute drive from Malvern and 20 minutes from Worcester.

The wonderfully proportioned Boynes has formal and informal rooms which include elegant fireplaces, ornate oak panelling, impressive ceiling heights and covered radiators. The accommodation is arranged principally over two floors with a lovely range of light and airy reception rooms and provides a homely atmosphere. The ground floor provides accommodation for Nursing residents and the first floor accommodates Residential Dementia residents. Our home is able to offer pre-bookable respite stays.

Residential Dementia – 19 en-suite rooms
Nursing and Nursing Dementia – 10 en-suite rooms

Rooms overlook the Malvern Hills or well-maintained gardens, which provide a safe environment for residents to explore. Within the grounds of The Boynes we also have a sensory garden which helps to provide an individual or combined sensory opportunities.

The presence of plants, water and wildlife has a healing effect, even when viewed from indoors. Gardens can also provide peace and quiet which can help to ease stress, anxiety, agitation, aggressive behaviour and pain.

To meet your needs

The Boynes Care Centre has been carefully upgraded over the years to meet the ongoing needs of people living with dementia and reflect the expectations of care homes in the 21st Century. Our dementia nursing and nursing care provides the highest standard of care and support for people who are living with nursing and nursing dementia needs.

At The Boynes Care Centre we see everyone as an individual this is our professional approach to person-centred care and through this, The Boynes Care Centre has attained the Dementia Care Standard Award.

We encourage family involvement as much as possible, to suit everyone’s wishes. This is vitally important in order to gain information about each person’s life history. This provides a better understanding of how someone has lived their life in the past and enables us to provide care planning that is unique to the individual as we encourage everyone to retain their identity.

MS Care Services

In addition to the current services at The Boynes, we are delighted to introduce an MS Care Service which is now available.
Tailored specifically for those with MS, The Boynes MS Care Service comprises single bedrooms and fully equipped bathing rooms.

The rooms are beautifully decorated, spacious and welcoming. This dedicated area is served by The Malvern Lounge which includes dining facilities. A further addition to our facilities is a physiotherapy treatment room where there will be a range of physiotherapy treatments to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay with us.

A varied schedule of indoor and outdoor leisure activities will also be accessible as it is our aim to provide a real holiday break for people with MS as well as the opportunity for carers to ‘take a break’. A relative’s room will also be available with en-suite facilities should you require.
