The Chiswick Nursing Centre is friendly and welcoming, providing the kindest possible care in a wonderfully comfortable setting.

Whether it’s short-term and respite care, rehabilitation, convalescence or residential care, you can rest assured that your loved ones are in the safest hands.

More than a care home

The Chiswick Nursing Centre provides a warm and welcoming environment for older people and for those who are too frail or ill to continue living in their own home.

Our experienced, friendly staff offer our residents peace of mind, support and companionship – whatever their needs. Families and loved ones have the comfort of knowing that our compassionate approach helps our residents feel safe and cared for.

Home from home

All bedrooms have en-suite facilities and residents can bring their own furniture and possessions, if they wish to. Our beautiful garden provides a peaceful haven for residents to enjoy, complemented by many organised activities indoors and out.

Visitors are welcome at all times of the day thanks to our open door visiting policy. Good food is important. We pride ourselves on serving meals that are both nutritious and delicious, all prepared by our experienced chef and his team.

Lifestyle & wellbeing

We assess your needs at home or in hospital at a pre-admission assessment in order to provide the highest standards of nursing home care on arrival.

We also provide attentive and individually tailored respite care, palliative care and convalescence care. Our holistic approach combines clinical attention, diet and exercise to maintain the best quality of life for our residents.

Nursing Care

At the Chiswick Nursing Centre, we have a range of skilled professionals who work with our excellent nursing team to aid maximum recovery. As clinical needs vary, our 24-hour private nursing care is tailored to suit individual requirements and is delivered by professional staff. We offer a sensitive and holistic approach to care for those who come living with complex medical conditions. Our care home is equipped with pressure-relieving equipment as required and up-to-date lifting aids. Our local GP can treat and advise any of our residents.

Person-centred care

You want peace of mind and 24 hour care that is kind, compassionate and skilled. Our dedicated team of qualified nurses and carers are highly trained and experienced in the wide spectrum of nursing-related conditions. We have a separate and specialist dementia care nursing suite.

Each client’s needs are individually assessed by our senior staff, prior to admission and a specific package of nursing and care is then created and tailored to address those needs
Compassionate care

Professional, clinically excellent palliative care for the terminally ill that aims to improve quality of life and ease suffering. We can help provide relief from the symptoms, pain and stress of a serious condition. Our staff are fully trained in palliative care and we work in close liaison with clinical specialists to provide the end of life care you need.

Our links with specialist consultants from the local hospice and hospital teams means that we can be sure that you are receiving the best healthcare overall at a time when it is most important for you. Our team will work with you and your next of kin to build and support an advanced care plan that precisely sets out your wishes and needs at this key stage in your life.

Respite Care & Rehabilitation

Restore your strength and health after an illness or operation by letting us take good care of you with individually tailored nursing care and our in-house physio, excellent chef and expert hairdresser.

We support convalescence after surgery and to aid cancer recovery, including care of those with complex needs. We have particular expertise in rehabilitation following hip replacements and knee replacements.

We also offer holiday stays for carers who need a break – with maximum peace of mind – so they can take time for themselves. Respite care should be a proper break for you. Short term or long term, we can take care of your loved one so that you can rest, recuperate and re-energise, or simply catch up on your to do list.

Respite Care

Caring for a loved one can be exhausting. We understand. And we help carers in our local communities so that they can go on holiday, visit friends or catch up on chores. You’ll have peace of mind thanks to an expert, experienced team on hand 24 hours a day.

You can make use of respite care as a one off, or for a few weeks. We’ll tailor everything to your needs and those of your loved one.

It’s good for residents too. While carers get a break, residents enjoy fresh scenery and new people. Our round-the-clock nursing care, nutritious food and stimulating activities means life can be lived here with as much joy, dignity and good health as we can support.

Convalescence Care

Professional convalescent care can speed your recovery process and get you back to normal life more quickly. We have years of experience in caring for people following surgical procedures and our in-house physio team will get you up and about, with confidence, following a hip or knee replacement, broken bone or period of immobility.

Our aim is to get you home and healthy so you can get on with your life again. But we want you to enjoy your time with us. Join in with activities and be as sociable as you like, or as anti-social as you like! Delicious, freshly prepared meals can be had in the dining room or in the comfort and privacy of your own room.

Our well-appointed rooms have en-suite bathrooms, Wi-Fi, and costs include all meals and drinks and laundry services.
