Life at Westgate House
From your own spacious bed-sitting room, with en-suite facilities, to the landscaped gardens complete with large seating areas and a conservatory. You can enjoy the social activities going on every day or find some peaceful relaxation. Or socialise with family and friends in one of the three comfortable lounges or in Polly’s Tea Room. We also have a hairdressing salon which is open to visits three days a week, a corner shop, and a cinema room to enjoy a film.
Our dedicated Activity Co-ordinators offer a wide-ranging programme of events and activities, organised to take account of everyone’s hobbies, interests and requests. From gardening to arts and crafts, outings or more individual pursuits. We want everyone to enjoy life to the fullest. We will be delighted to help you continue with your current pastimes. As well as giving you the opportunity to try something new if you’d like to do so.
Lastly, home-cooked meals are prepared by our talented cook and kitchen team and served in our spacious, open plan dining room. As well as taking advantage of seasonal produce whenever possible. The freshly prepared, delicious dishes and snacks are also carefully balanced to get the best nutritional value. As well as taking account of any individual dietary requirements and preferences. And of course, relatives and friends are always welcome to join us.
