Westwood House is a purpose built care home located in the residential area of Upper Sydenham on Westwood Hill.
We provide 24-hour nursing care alongside expert care for those, from the age of 40, who are chronically sick.
At Westwood House we have a dedicated Memory Lane Community for our residents who have dementia. We also offer respite care for those who require shorter breaks. Our staff team are always happy to help and provide a good standard of care. We have our own visiting GP from a local practice who visits us on a weekly basis.
The features and facilities at Westwood House are designed to the highest standards to enhance the lives of residents, and the care we provide is delivered by professionals who are committed to making this home an exceptional place to live.
Moreover, our activities coordinators are always busy coming up with new and innovative ways to get residents active in the home. Some activities include, reminiscence sessions, and planning events such as the Summer and Christmas parties. We have also provided some very successful trips out to local places of interest in our minibus and have monthly visits from entertainers and musicians.
Additionally, all of our food is made from the best fresh produce and cooked to the highest quality. The Chefs meet with residents regularly to discuss their particular likes and dislikes. We also work alongside dieticians, who support the Chefs with additional training and advice about particular residents’ needs.
