Opened in 2013, this welcoming home is located on Windsor Street, an attractive residential road in north Cheltenham.
About the Home
Windsor Street Care Centre care home is a modern home that has been designed with your comfort and wellbeing in mind. Relax in one of the cosy lounges, take advantage of the secure terraces on sunny days, or join in one of the social activities taking place daily. And if you’d like a little more privacy, then your own spacious bed-sitting room, with en-suite ‘wet room’ shower facilities, offers a peaceful haven.

There is full programme of different activities and events organised here at Windsor Street Care Centre care home by our Activity Co-ordinators around each person’s requests, hobbies and interests. We have very good links with individuals and groups in the local community and have been involved in various joint projects with them. Typical daily activities might include:

Tasty, home cooked meals
Home cooked meals are prepared by our talented cook and kitchen team. The freshly prepared, delicious dishes are carefully balanced to get the best nutritional value and take account of any individual dietary requirements or preferences. The team loves to cater for a special occasion, like a birthday, and of course, visitors are always welcome to join us.

Michelle Hearn is the Home Manager at Windsor Street Care Centre care home in Cheltenham. Michelle has worked with the Trust for 23 years and has held a variety of positions during this time.
She started her career as a Housekeeper and Care Assistant at one of our sister homes, before being promoted to a Senior Care Leader. She was also responsible for delivering mandatory training to all OSJCT homes. In 2008, Michelle stepped into a Deputy Management role, before relocating to Windsor Street Care Centre care home as the Head of Dementia in 2013.
This role involved supporting 36 dementia residential clients and 21 nursing dementia clients. She also supported the General Manager in the overall running of the home. Her tremendous ability and passion saw Michelle promoted to Deputy Manager in 2015, and then to General Manager in 2017.
Michelle prides herself on her people skills and says she is driven by the love of her job. She has the ability to work under pressure, mentor her staff and achieve outstanding results.
