The Home’s communal areas and garden are perfect for creating a social and vibrant environment and provide the perfect space for leisure pursuits.

The Home provides a varied programme of activities, including arts and crafts, gardening, cooking and singalongs with visiting entertainers. Their minibus is also on hand to visit the coast, coffee shops, garden centres, shows and local attractions such as Leeds Castle. As well as getting out in the community, the Home also invites the community in to visit, including local nursery children.

One of the first care providers to champion the importance of nutrition for the elderly and those with dementia, Nellsar employ a Nutrition and Wellness Manager for their Homes. Woodstock acknowledges that nutrition and hydration are an integral part of good health and well-being, delivering well-balanced, nutritious meals and snacks to residents every day. All residents are offered a choice of food, to ensure all types of preferences and diets are catered for.

The Home is staffed by a dedicated and highly-skilled team of Nurses and Carers and also benefits from a well-being team of fully-qualified holistic therapists who use nurturing touch, complementary therapies and relaxing treatments to improve residents’ quality of life and sense of well-being.
