Crossways Community is launching a competition in Tunbridge Wells to design a logo for its forthcoming 50th anniversary.
Next year the mental health charity will celebrate 50 years of looking after people with acute mental health difficulties. It is already busy organising a series of commemorative events involving residents, staff, local schools (recipients of regular mental health awareness programmes) and neighbours.
Once the winning entry is selected artwork will be professionally created, with the logo appearing on all stationery and the website as well as on promotional material throughout the year. The winner will receive £200 of Amazon vouchers and two runners up will receive £50 each.
Chris Munday, Crossways Chief Executive, says: “This is about designing a special anniversary logo that encapsulates Crossways Community and the work that we do. We’re asking people to put their creative hats on for this. It’s quite literally a blank sheet of paper with no preconceived ideas – and no whizzy software required! All ideas are welcome, and there is also a nice prize for the winner!”
