Home Instead Senior Care, Welwyn and Hatfield were once again proud to take part in the Alzheimer’s Society’s National Cupcake Day.
National Cupcake Day, 14th June, helps to raise awareness and raise invaluable funds to help find new treatments and, ultimately, a cure for dementia.
To do their part for this wonderful cause, Home Instead senior Care sold delicious cupcakes at their office, located on Weltech Business Centre, Welwyn Garden City, alongside tickets for a raffle.
Jane Andrews, of Home Instead Senior Care Welwyn and Hatfield commented on the event: “All of the baked goods were home made by our dedicated staff and supportive businesses or kindly donated and in doing so, we raised a total of in excess of £1000.00 whilst wearing our impressive hand knitted cupcake hats!
“We would like to thank John Lewis, Welwyn Garden City, for allowing us to hold our raffle draw within their store, as well as helping us raise the important awareness of dementia.”
