Some great carers some less so. Initial experience was that 80% of time the carer was late which was an issue as partners meds are time critical. Have cut down to one visit at 7am and not at all at weekends. Carer today was late, unhappy to do the light cleaning on list. Didn't listen to instructions given twice about different flannel and towel for feet due to an infection. So now gave to boil everything. His self report says he prepared a meal, snack, drinks - he didn't. Not impressed even if it was his time here.

We had a visit from one of your staff members to assess my personal care needs which surprisingly did not appear to be passed to the carers. it would also appear the carers were not given sufficient travel times between visits. I am paralysed from the waist down and have quite specific needs and we found the carers were always friendly, helpful and willing to listen regarding my care. Thank you for all the help you gave us.

Abbots have been providing care in our home for my Son with Duchene Muscular Dystrophy since September 2019. They are an amazing dedicated team of carers, taking time to get to know the family to ensure the best possible care is provided. They are professional in the care they provide while supporting my son emotionally and promoting independence during his teenage years. I would highly recommend Abbots to anyone needing care and support.
