I would never recommend this care home to anyone. The standard of care is poor, and the professionalism is severely lacking. My family member was there for four months and experienced more falls than ever before. Management is appalling, and the deputy is confrontational, dismissive, and even told us he was “waiting” for our relative to fall so he could be taken into hospital and would not be able to come back to this home. On multiple occasions there were concerns which were overlooked by senior members of staff. Staff refused simple safety measures like a falls mat or buzzer, claiming they couldn’t respond quickly enough—raising serious concerns about resident safety. It's heartbreaking to see vulnerable people treated with such little dignity or compassion. Avoid this place at all costs.

Before lockdown I as a Diabetes Ambassador and Activist had the pleasure of doing a diabetes awareness presentation at this care home for elderly people. Laura Wakefield the Customer Service Manager was instrumental in arranging what indeed was a well attended session on health and well-being with both staff and residents. I was truly impressed with the entire surroundings from the moment I parked my car in the spacious car park and the friendliness and welcome that was accorded to me by the staff. The cleanliness of the establishment was excellent and I thoroughly enjoyed interacting with the residents and staff who were so eager to learn and take on board healthy eating advice and physical activity. To hear repeatedly residents saying 'Please come again' left a lump in my throat and I will certainly re-visit when lockdown has ended. Keep up the good work there looking after the elderly and more vulnerable in our society who all were well cared for.

I would like to say a huge thank you to Albion court care home for taking care of my aunt. She has been in the home from since Covid and is so relaxed and at peace. The staff are warm caring and so willing to help. Daniela the deputy manager is a star and has been extremely helpful in trying to ensure that the family and external things that need to be put in place are completed to statutory requirements. Thank you Daniela and your team we really appreciate you.

We at Beat It Percussion are delighted to still be working with Albion Court during these challenging times. Rather than focusing on what is not possible, Albion Court are open to what is possible and to finding innovative ways that we can continue to offer enrichment to the residents through sound and rhythm. We are providing regular live via Zoom group relaxation sessions using gongs and singing bowls. Support staff reported that 'they all look really relaxed' afterwards. Looking forward to the next one.

Came on Friday to Visit Family and saw the celebrations going on to celebrate Jamaican Independence Day and I honestly had the most amazing time as everyone was involved. The staff was honestly so helpful and amazing and all the Residents and their families were involved.
