My Mother-in-law stayed at Bagshot Gardens Care Home - Avery Collection and we honestly couldn’t have asked for better care. The staff were absolutely outstanding kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. Nothing was ever too much trouble for them, and they always went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable and happy. The food was amazing, with generous portions and a great variety, which she really enjoyed. The entertainment was also fantastic lively, engaging, and thoughtfully planned to suit everyone’s needs and interests. What meant the most to us as as a family was the warm, welcoming and friendly environment. It gave us real peace of mind knowing she was safe, well cared for, and treated with dignity and respect. We were absolutely delighted with the care she received and would highly recommend Bagshot Gardens to anyone looking for a caring and supportive home or rest-bite!

Mum has been at Bagshot for over 2 years now, so my review is a fair and honest one. When Mum first arrived at the home she had been through a tough time with weeks in hospital. Life changed for her hugely and looking for a new home was difficult. Bagshot have not let us down. The carers are hardworking and seem to really care for their residents. As they got to know Mum the little touches appeared,so Mum always looks lovely. They also have a fab hairdresser who will even come in on a non working day if there is a special occasion. There are activities going on every day which include exercises which are so important. I didnt think Mum would enjoy them but she loves them! Obviously there are sometimes little hiccups but the home are always responsive . There are trained nurses in the home, who are brilliant. Despite Mum being dependent and wheelchair bound she has never had any pressure sores or skin issues and is much healthier now than she was 2 years ago. If you are considering any Home make sure you check whether your contract includes Funded Nursing Care . There have been a couple of occasions when the home have had to call 999 for Mum and the paramedics have also said how good they find the care at Bagshot. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this home to anyone looking for somewhere that will show the care and respect all our loved ones deserve.

I had the pleasure of visiting Bagshot Gardens this week. All the staff team were extremely welcoming and helpful. The home was decorated with lovely vases of fresh flowers, carefully picked from the homes fabulous garden, which was a relaxing place for the residents to sit and while away the day in the sunshine. The bistro is the hub of the home and a great place to sit with a cup of tea, home made cake and have a chat. The home has a warm friendly feel I would definitely recommend a visit. Thank you all for your hospitality and support.

My mother moved to Sunrise earlier this year, initially for respite after a fall, but then she herself decided to stay. From someone who had absolutely resolved she never wanted to live in a residential home, this says everything about the loving welcome and personal care she received and continues to receive. I really don't recognise some of the reviews on here and wonder where they came from! The staff are the most caring I've encountered anywhere - and I've visited many in the area with friends - and they do their utmost to make it as homely as possible. There is always a wide range of activities, and the residents are encouraged to come take part in many as they can. Yes, it has a (quality) "hotel" like atmosphere in some ways, but the residents seem to like it that way, and the new decor is bringing a more modern feel. Meals are generally good, and there is a permanent list of simple 'alternatives' to the main menu that are always available. Like any care home, from time to time staff holidays have to be covered by agency workers, but management does not hesitate to 'let go' any who do not meet the Sunrise standards. The home also has 24/7 nursing care too which is a great comfort, and I have first hand experience of them exercising excellent judgment in getting the emergency services involved when needed. All the staff have an excellent standard of English ---- I don't mean to be in any way racist, but at the end of the day, it is enormously important for elderly residents to be able to communicate as easily as possible. I am rating this home 5*, but of course it doesn't get everything 100% right all the time! Sometimes the communication between relatives and more senior management could be a little more proactive. Nevertheless, I do have complete confidence in them and when small issues have arisen - as they're bound to - they have been quickly dealt with, and any queries are quickly and happily answered. No care home is absolutely perfect because it isn't "home", but I wouldn't have any hesitation in recommending Sunrise in Bagshot.

A big thank you to Mel, Rachel and all the team at Sunrise of Bagshot. They accepted my mother in law on a temporary basis, as the Home nearer to us was full. She felt very welcomed and appreciated all the care that she was given. The communication with us was absolutely superb. Today she has transferred to the home near us and all has gone very smoothly. We would definitely recommend this nursing home.
