I always look forward to playing at Eastbourne Gardens in Worthing. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and there’s such a warm atmosphere throughout the home. You can really feel the care and positivity in the environment. It’s a wonderful place to perform — the residents are engaged, the setting feels relaxed, luxurious and uplifting, and there’s a real sense of community. A genuine pleasure every time I visit.

My parents were looked after in Eastbourne Gardens for 6 weeks as my father had terminal cancer and was my mother’s full time carer. From the moment I made an enquiry the care and compassion shone through. In the last couple of weeks as my fathers health seriously declined, I was brought to tears witnessing the genuine care both medically and generally by every member of the team to my dad until he took his last breath in peace, pain free and with the birds singing in the garden. I cannot recommend this outstanding home highly enough, they simply have the best staff.

Our close friend has been in Eastbourne Gardens for 9 years this Christmas. He is now 91 and has Parkinson’s Disease. He has been very happy in E.G. and started off in Assisted Living where he had a good level of independence but help when he needed it. For many years, with help from the staff for the technology he ran a much enjoyed Sunday afternoon Golden Oldies Film Club. Nowadays he needs very full care but he has been able to stay in the same room to receive it. He has known a lot of the staff for many years and the care, kindness, dignity and respect for him has been exemplary. Senior staff have gone out of their way to accommodate his changing needs. What more could we ask for. We rest assured that he could have received no better care.

I recently had three weeks convalescent care here after hip surgery. I am so impressed by the care and attention that I received from everyone. All staff go above and beyond to help you. The building is spacious and elegant with beautiful gardens and many activities on offer. My room was airy and large with an outside space to sit and I was able to exercise safely on the long corridors. Thank you to Nancy and the team for making my stay so beneficial and enjoyable. I would highly recommend Eastbourne Gardens to anyone looking for high quality care.
