Bourn View Care Home in Bournville opened in June 2017, it is one of the finest in our portfolio of private care homes across the Midlands. Avery is proud to be associated with the Bournville Village Trust’s care community for the elderly. The home itself enjoys an elevated position overlooking a waterfall, stream and the Bournville Village itself. The sleek design of the building, with its stunning central curved roof, is striking and distinctive, incorporation of floor-to-ceiling windows, together with doors that open out to the grounds make it light and sunny and very connected with the landscape.

Each floor at our stunning care home in Birmingham features a beautiful atrium, where there is a bistro and bar where residents, friends and families are encouraged to gather. There are four dining rooms and four intimate lounges, all furnished in a contemporary style with splashes of bold colour. The dining rooms lead out on to terraces, ideal spots for a relaxing aperitif before dinner or watching the world go by. A feeling of family in the home, a calm ambience with great staff teams who genuinely seem to like working there and who treat residents and visitors with great kindness and patience. Lots of positive energy! A really positive experience. Special shout outs to Zoe G on her intro and ongoing engagement for us to the home as well as to Kim on the reception desk. Also Zoe and the wellbeing team who work really hard to provide engagement and activities for residents, especially our loved one. Thank you for all your professionalism, kindness and reassurance with us and our mom as a new resident. Much appreciated.

I visited Bourn View with the hope of both my parents moving here. The staff I met were all delightful and very helpful, taking time to understand my parents' needs (especially Zoe and Grace). The atmosphere was calm and welcoming. All the observed interactions with residents were positive. I would not hesitate to recommend Bourn View to my parents when they choose their next step

Went to the armed forces day event in June. It was lovely to see the residents, staff and community get involved! All residents look incredibly happy. Even seeing staff turn up on their day off to support and help you can see the enjoyment they must have in their jobs to do this. Keep on what your doing bournview.
