Kathleen Presswell
Manager
Kathleen Presswell has worked in the care industry in the UK for 17 years. Coming from a long line of doctors and nurses, she was inspired from an early age by seeing her uncles and aunties support and care for others when they needed it most. Kathleen began her career as a medical technologist in the Philippines before qualifying as a medical surgical nurse. She later moved to the UK to complete her supervised practice training with City University London, with her student nursing placement taking place at a care home in Winchmore Hill, before registering as an Adult Nurse.
Kathleen has a deep understanding of the emotional and physical needs of older people and is committed to treating residents, families and staff with kindness, dignity and genuine care. Her priority has always been to create a compassionate, safe and vibrant environment at Broxbourne Nursing Home, where every resident is treated with dignity and respect, staff feel empowered and supported, and families feel confident, connected and reassured, ensuring quality of life, not just care.
