En-suite rooms are fully furnished, however residents are welcome to personalise their rooms according to preference. There are beautiful grounds for residents, including a newly refurbished courtyard, a pergola, a fishpond, a sheltered seating area and terraces. Friendly, professional staff support them to maintain their independence, and to ensure they enjoy day-to-day life. On-site chefs prepare meals using fresh, healthy and seasonal produce. Cornwallis Court residents can also enjoy various trips, outings and activities.

Very disappointed that Cornwallis Court refused to take my Mother as a resident. She has mid-stage Dementia, she is self-funded, the daughter of a prominent Mason (Cornwallis claims to take all Masonic family members), and used Cornwallis as home for her own Father for years. The excuse given was that she was a “flight-risk”. From my limited research, that’s common with Dementia. What else do they think of as too much effort? I’m glad I found a location that really cares at St.Peter’s. They actually agreed to help rather than pass because it may take effort. Check the people who will care for your loved one not just the nicest flower beds!!!

In my Opinion one of the Nicest Nursing Homes you’ll find in Bury St Edmunds Lovely Caring Staff who go above and beyond to make Residents feel at Home and Cared for Throughout the Covid Pandemic the Management succeeded in keeping the Home running smoothly whilst making sure the Residents and staff were kept Safe
