Crimson Manor is a warm & welcoming care home with lovely residents, who are well cared for with a team of dedicated staff, which go out of their way to make sure the residents feel well & happy, the home is very well run & managed with great facilities. I personally would not hesitate to recommend Crimson Manor for anyone who would like a family member to stay.

My dad went into Crimson Manor for some respite care. As his Alzheimer's had deteriorated so quickly it soon became apparent that he needed 24 hour care & so as a family we decided to extend his stay at Crimson Manor. I cannot fault this home. It is clear that it is a vocation for all the staff including Tina who owns the Home, rather than just a job or a business. Dad has settled in extremely well & we are welcome to visit anytime or bring dad home for a few hours. Whilst it isn't as modern as some of the new homes in Huddersfield it more than makes up for in love & that home from home feeling. Having to arrange a care home is a very stressful process as we did not want to do it, however, our decision has been made so much easier knowing how well he is cared for, even as a challenging resident. Thank you to all the staff for loving my dad like we do.

My husband was resident at Crimson Manor for nearly two years till his death. He had Alzheimer’s dementia and his behaviour was at times extremely difficult to deal with. The staff were always patient and attentive to his needs. He loved music and the manager made him a play list of his favourites. He liked the activities - going to the pub, playing table tennis, dementia jigsaws and the outside entertainers. He also would have “conversations” with Scooby the home’s dog and help feed the chickens. He was on a special diet in his last year at the home and the chef went out of his way to provide varied, nutritious meals. My husband liked to wander and go outside when he wanted and he was able to do this at Crimson Manor. I would recommend this home to anyone looking for excellent care for their loved one in their final years.

My grandmother was here for quite a long time, whenever we visited the staff were always very friendly and offered us tea and biscuits. We do miss granny a lot, but we all know that she was well taken care of before she passed. Thank you all for the wonderful service you provided. I hope you know she is smiling down on you from above. My gran had a passion for knitting that ran deep in her veins, she made scarves for me and the other grandkids every winter. When we visited once we found one of the staff sat there knitting with her, helping her make us scarves when she started to decline and couldn't do it herself. I wear this scarf almost every day now, no matter how warm or cold it is outside. It reminds me of gran and all the adventures we had. It reminds me of how happy she was, and how much they all cared about her. Your loved ones would be well cared for here, and you can feel calm knowing you put them in the best possible place to care for them.

Have searched a number of care homes online to see what they offer people with dementia and it certainly seems like Crimson Manor offers a wide range of activities and caring services, putting residents at the centre of what they do.
