Daybreak is a fun and social place for people with dementia. The organization began in 1991 focusing on mental health for older people, rebranded in 2003, became a dementia-focused charity in 2006, achieved self-sufficiency in 2011, supported members during COVID-19 in 2020, and launched a community bus in 2022.

Our mission is to improve the quality of life for people living with dementia and their carers through person-centred care. As part of our Vision / Values we aim to be caring, trusted, engaging, empathetic, and friendly in work and interactions.
