Friendly Homecare is registered with the independent regulator of health & social care in England, the Care Quality Commission (CQC), to provide personal care and support to people in their own homes.
We support individuals to maintain their independence by creating personalised care plans to assist them in all activities of daily living. Our support focuses on the promotion of independence and involvement in decision making at every level. We are dedicated and passionate about delivering a high quality of service. As such, we carry out regular care reviews to ensure that Service Users are satisfied. In addition, we continually monitor the service’s efficiency and reliability, identifying areas for improvement.
We can provide support for older adults, individuals with learning disabilities, mental health issues, dementia, physical disabilities, palliative care needs and many other long-term conditions.
We can support individuals with the following care:
- Personal Care such as help with bathing, strip washes, grooming, oral and incontinence care.
- Companionship Support such as engaging in conversation, hobbies, going out for walks or social outings to promote wellbeing, or attending appointments.
- Nutrition & Hydration Management such as help with preparing meals or assistance with eating and drinking, if required.
- Medication Management such as collection of prescriptions, prompts to take medication or support with taking medicines.
- Overnight care such having a support worker to ‘sleepover’; or being awake throughout the night to provide support as required (waking night).
- Home Help such as light housework (dusting, vacuuming) and support with laundry.
- Shopping & running errands e.g. posting letters.
- Live-in Care – having a care support worker to live with you in order to support you with all aspects of daily living.
We take pride in the fact that our service is highly personalised, offers continuity of care and we develop good working relationships with Service Users and their families / representatives. Our support workers are recruited following an interview, an Enhanced Disclosure (DBS Check) and satisfactory employment references. They also undertake various trainings relevant to their role e.g. health & safety, infection prevention & control and safeguarding.
Areas we cover include: Acton, Brentford, Chiswick, Ealing, Hammersmith, Hounslow, Hampton, Richmond, Shepherds Bush, Teddington and Twickenham.
Our charges are based on your particular needs so feel free to get in touch either by telephone or email and we can give you an estimate, which can be confirmed following a free, non-obligatory care needs assessment.
