Hatfield Residential and Nursing Home provides award-winning compassionate care for residential, dementia and nursing needs.

The purpose-built modern interior offers residents spacious, private bedrooms with ensuite facilities, as well as plenty of communal spaces to enjoy, including a pub, a movie room, a retro sweet shop, a cafe area, a hairdressing salon and a large enclosed wheelchair-friendly garden.

In November 2024, the homes’ deputy manager was awarded the Compassion Award for Residential Care at the Hertfordshire Care Awards.

Nicol has been with Hatfield in a variety of roles, most notably as Deputy Manager for several years and the winner of the 2024 Compassion in Care award at the Hertfordshire Care Association Awards. In 2025, Nicol stepped up to the position of Home Manager and continues to lead with compassion and puts our residents at the heart of everything she does.
