Oaklands Care Home is a purpose-built facility for people living with dementia and young people with physical challenges. The home is set in beautiful grounds on the outskirts of Bottisham Village, in Cambridge. Oaklands Care Home has well-maintained and secure internal gardens, so residents can enjoy the garden safely. Moreover, the home benefits from hairdressing facilities, a café -style reception area, restaurant-style dining and lovely, relaxing communal areas.
Furthermore, Oaklands offers a real community feel. We have three units within the home. Two are dedicated Memory Lane Communities for people living with dementia. The remaining unit is for younger people with disabilities. We have given all units street names to create a village feel: each bedroom door even has its own letter box and door knocker. Furthermore, at Oaklands our activities team are great at building the activities programme around the likes and interests of our residents. We feel it’s important that those we support can enjoy an active and social lifestyle. Of course, for those who prefer peace and quiet, we always encourage a nice cup of tea and a chat.
Additionally, all of our food is made from the best fresh produce and cooked to the highest quality. A great deal of care is taken to accommodate all dietary requirements, and our meals are always prepared with the likes and dislikes of residents taken into consideration.
