At Home Instead Stourbridge Hagley and Halesowen, we provide Hourly or Live In Care and we believe that the best solution as you age is to continue to live in the place where you feel most comfortable, safe and happy.
Of course, some of the daily tasks may become more difficult, and you or your loved one may need some extra support but that doesn’t mean you need to leave behind those cherished memories and the place where your heart is.
At Home Instead, rated Outstanding by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), we can support you or your loved one with what you need to continue living well at home and with what you want, to do it your way. We are very proud to be part of the award winning Home Instead Senior Care global network, but because we are a franchise, the Stourbridge, Hagley and Halesowen Office is a local, family run business established in 2011 by ex-nurse Lorna Bath and husband Peter. Our team provide outstanding professional, compassionate, care which works around you. From Live In Care in Wollaston, dementia support in Belbroughton, companionship in Pedmore or personal care in Halesowen, we will work with you and your loved ones to find the best solution. Whilst local authority direct payments and NHS funded care can be used for our service, it is primarily designed as a service for private care, so every system, process and decision is created to deliver a high quality personal service. We match our Care Professionals with great care and the same caregivers visit every week so you build strong relationships and because they know you so well, Care Professionals can respond to your individual needs. We always allow enough time for your visits so neither you nor the Care Professionals feel rushed and they can take time to listen and learn exactly how you like things to be done. As each member of staff only has a small number of clients, they can give you their full attention. We agree the exact times that you will have your visits and care givers are always properly introduced before their first visit which means you know who is coming and can confidently plan the rest of your day. Home Instead Care Professionals do not have uniforms and by wearing normal clothes, they look more like a visiting friend or family member so care feels more relaxed. We seek the best available support for our Care Professionals such as training accredited by Parkinson’s UK and we have gained accreditation from City and Guilds for our Dementia Care programme. As well as training for our staff, our expert team offers free workshops and resources for clients and family members on topics such as nutrition, preventing falls, dementia awareness and fraud prevention. In addition to visits from your Care Professionals, you will benefit from regular phone calls and visits from our dedicated office team to make sure everything is running perfectly.
