Meet Amy Fraser – Director of Hub Care Support West & Mid Herts

With over 20 years of experience in the care sector and the winner of the 2023 Hertfordshire Business Women of the Year, Amy Fraser has dedicated her career to supporting individuals and families in need of high-quality, compassionate care. She has worked across a wide variety of care settings, giving her a deep understanding of what makes care truly person-centred and effective.

Amy’s journey with Hub Care Support began as a self-employed Personal Assistant (PA), where she thrived on the flexibility and independence the role offered. However, her passion for helping people and her belief in the Hub Care Support model quickly shone through. Recognising her commitment, Amy was invited to join the operations team, playing an active role in expanding the organisation’s reach and impact.

In early 2022, Amy took the opportunity to launch the West Hertfordshire branch of Hub Care Support, covering areas such as Watford, Rickmansworth, Croxley Green, Sarratt, and Chipperfield. Under her leadership, the branch has grown into a trusted local service, connecting individuals and families with reliable, trained, and caring Personal Assistants.

Amy believes that everyone deserves choice, control, and peace of mind when it comes to care. Her mission is to make finding the right support simple, transparent, and stress-free for families across Hertfordshire.

Meet Adam Fraser – Director of Hub Care Support West & Mid Herts

Adam Fraser brings a strong business and financial services background to Hub Care Support, combining commercial expertise with a genuine passion for helping people access quality care. While Adam has worked directly in the care sector for the past three years, his connection to the industry goes back much further.

For over 17 years, Adam has been a listening ear to his wife Amy, hearing first-hand about her experiences across different care settings. Inspired by her dedication and the ethos of empowering families with choice and control, Adam knew he wanted to be part of building something special.

In 2022, Adam and Amy launched Hub Care Support – West & Mid Herts, covering Watford, Rickmansworth, Croxley Green, Sarratt, and Chipperfield. Together, they have grown a trusted, local care matching service that connects individuals and families with reliable, trained, and compassionate Personal Assistants (PAs).

Adam’s business background complements Amy’s extensive care experience, ensuring the branch delivers not only outstanding care but also strong foundations for sustainability, growth, and community impact.

Outside of work, Adam is a keen sports enthusiast and runner. He and Amy balance running their branch with family life, raising their two young children.

We’re delighted with the service at Hubcare Support. I was seeking home help and support for my father in his early 80’s and through recommendation I was introduced to Amy and Adam who are both professional and customer friendly and run an excellent and seamless service to satisfy the needs of families requiring assistance for their loved ones. The PA’s provided have been a great fit for my father building rapport and trust through their journey of help and support to him and have generated an ongoing relationship. Thank you to Georgina who’s my fathers main PA and to Alima and now Kadriye for the care and difference you’ve made. It’s a blessing to know that your relative is taken care of and allows you to relax and be at ease knowing they’re in good and safe hands. Much gratitude to all.

Amy from Hub Care support has really helped our family to find a suitable carer for our son. It can be so difficult to find the right person and Amy’s help has made a huge difference. The whole process of getting set up was easy and the communication with both Amy and the carer was fantastic, thank you.

The support we have received for our parents has been outstanding. It was so important to us as a family that mum and dad could remain together in their own home. I really can't recommend the team enough. Our circumstances meant that we had to find a PA very quickly. What could have been a really stressful time for us, was made so much easier by the very efficient and friendly way our needs were met. The 2 PA's who care for mum and dad are superb. The peace of mind this has given us is priceless. Thank you so much for being fantastic!

This was an award in recognition of Amy's incredible hard work and brilliant service she provided to both those service users looking for care and those Personal Assistants on the Hub care register. There are 75 carers/personal assistants on our list for whom we have found a great deal of work and helped them to thrive as an independent, self employed people. This has contributed enormously to the health and well-being of the local population and local economy.
