Park View Care is a home offering residential care, specialist dementia care, and close care apartments. The home is ideally located in Gloucester Quays, close to local amenities and transport links.

Built on 4 floors with facilities and services designed with the specific healthcare requirements of older people in mind, Park View can support people who still wish to remain independent whilst having peace of mind in a self contained apartment as well as those who require extra support or specialist dementia care in a secure environment with dementia friendly design. With such a wide range of care provision it is our aim to be able to provide ‘a home for life’ for all of our residents living here.

On the ground floor of the home is a café and hairdressing salon, then through into a private area there are bedrooms looking out over Gloucester Park. Our ethos upholds the desire to make a difference to the experiences of those who are both living and working at Park View by creating opportunities for lives which have meaning and purpose. As a socially and environmentally responsible home, our mission is ‘Creating tomorrow’s environments’; to create a welcoming community in which we support Older People and our Staff to flourish and thrive. We believe that a person’s individuality should not diminish with age but that all staff and residents should be valued and their lives enriched and fulfilled.

Charlotte Potter

Manager

Before working in care, my career spanned diverse industry sectors providing management, accounting, administrative and technical services. Now a registered manager with CQC for older people’s services, I first worked in care as commercial manager for Learning Disability Services some 20+ years ago. I then found my passion and career ‘home’ when I took a role as care manager in a home for older people. Since then I have managed residential and nursing homes for older people living with and without dementia and love the different challenges that every day brings. I believe that supporting our staff is key to enabling our residents to live fulfilled and happy lives, and my passion is creating a home that becomes a community where families and friends are welcomed – a place people call ‘home’, that feels like ‘home’.

Pia Potter-Farrant

I’m a customer-focused Contract and Facilities Manager with a passion for creating positive, welcoming environments and improving the experience for everyone who uses them.

I’ve spent the past five years working at Park View, building strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and the local community, and gaining a solid understanding of what person-centred care means for the residents at Park View. I’ve also worked alongside Charlotte since before the home opened in 2016, giving me a real connection to its growth and values.

I’m a confident communicator and a calm, compassionate problem-solver, and I believe that strong relationships and teamwork are key to delivering great service.
