At Right at Home South Cheshire we aim to make a genuine difference to the quality of life of those we serve in the local community. We focus on improving the lives of those we care for, not just maintaining quality of life.

We firmly believe that to provide an excellent service, you need time. That’s why we have a preferred minimum visit time of 1 Hour, enabling both our CareGivers and Clients to have a positive experience that allows not only time for support to be provided where it is needed, but also to have a conversation and allow for social interaction. This is where we believe we can truly “make a difference every day” to the lives of our Clients.

Our CareGivers are handpicked by our management team. We provide extensive and comprehensive training and ensure that personalities are well suited to those of the Client. We will provide a consistency of CareGivers and will never send a CareGiver who has not previously been introduced to the Client. What We Do Whether you or a family member needs a little extra help around the house, assistance at either end of the day, or 24 hour support to live at home, Right at Home could be the answer. Our carefully trained and friendly CareGivers provide help with a wide range of tasks including housework, shopping, cooking meals, washing and physical assistance, as well as personal and continence care. Our services are reliable, flexible and highly-personalised, prioritising our clients’ interests above all else. We treat our clients as part of our extended family and aim to become an indispensable part of their support network.  Also covering Middlewich and Holmes Chapel areas. Fees Guide: from £22.

Our Team

Ben Selby

Manager

It has been a life long passion of mine to run my own home care business. I’ve worked in the home care sector for almost 15 years, including time spent as a CareGiver working my way up to being a Registered Manager and latterly as a part of the Senior Management team with a market leading national home care provider.

My real motivation comes from my Grandad who sadly passed away in 2014 following after living with Dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease for nearly 10 years. I grew up in Kendal, in the Lake District living next door to my Nan and Grandad and enjoyed many great years working for my Grandad in his family run paint and wallpaper shop. As my Grandad’s Dementia progressed, he of course needed support and care as he started to struggle with his normal daily routine, and unfortunately although much of his care was excellent, this wasn’t always the case. I use this as my constant guide to the quality of care we provide our Clients – “Would it have been good enough for my Grandad?” The answer must always be yes.

I have previously stood as a Public Governor at Mid Cheshire Hospitals Charity Trust (2017-2020) and I’m passionate about our local hospital, Leighton Hospital and ensuring they serve our local community well.

I’ve lived in Nantwich for over 10 years after growing up in the Lake District. I’ve got two beautiful sons, Grayson and Myles. Ben's Key Responsibilities include:
  • Business Development
  • Financial Management
  • Maintain Compliance records
  • Support with CareGiver Recruitment
  • Review & Improve processes
