Manager

Kirsty is the Care Manager at Right at Home Telford and has worked in health and social care since 2009. With extensive experience across frontline care and care management, she brings a strong understanding of both the practical and leadership aspects of delivering high-quality, person-centred home care.

Throughout her career, Kirsty has supported individuals with a wide range of care needs, while also leading and developing CareGiver teams to ensure safe, compassionate and consistent care is delivered in line with regulatory standards. She has a particular passion for staff development, believing that well-supported and confident CareGivers are key to achieving outstanding outcomes for clients.

Kirsty is known for her calm, approachable manner and her ability to build trusting relationships with clients, families and professionals alike. She places great importance on clear communication, dignity, and ensuring that people feel listened to and involved in decisions about their care.

As Care Manager, Kirsty plays a central role in care planning, quality assurance and day-to-day service delivery, working closely with clients and their families to ensure care remains responsive, safe and tailored to individual needs.

Outside of work, Kirsty enjoys spending time outdoors, visiting National Trust gardens, gardening at home, crafting and reading, as well as making memories with family and friends.

Kirsty is proud to be part of a service that puts people at the heart of everything it does and is committed to making a positive difference to the lives of those supported by Right at Home Telford.

Right at Home provided care for our 80 year old mother for nearly 3 months while she recovered from an operation on her ankle. We were initially very concerned about how our Mum would cope following her surgery as she was effectively house bound for more than 2 months. However, Right at Home have been superb from start to finish. The quality of care has been more than we could have ever hoped for. The carers were all, without exception, wonderful. They treated Mum with kindness, warmth and respect. The communication with Bright and Kirsty was uniformly excellent from our initial consultation right through to the final few days of Mum's care. We really could not have asked for more. They have helped make a really difficult period of convalescence infinitely more manageable than it would have otherwise have been and my family are extremely grateful to them. Mum is now back on her feet. I cannot recommend them highly enough. They are exceptionally good.

We recently appointed Right At Home to support my mum during my holiday and it went so well we have arranged a regular schedule. The factors in choosing Right At Home were (i) Telford-based, being local was important to us; (ii) hour long visits as a minimum, means that client and carer get quality time together and I assume it means that the carers' working days are not too hectic so they're better able to enjoy their work which will result in better quality of care; (iii) Debbie's assessment visit and creation of my mum's client record were really professional but also personal, I felt like the 'business' has the right balance between personal care and professional admin; (iv) my mum and her carer have a really great rapport, it's more than a functional visit they chat and laugh and this brings real joy to my mum's life. We contacted several other care providers and I am so glad that Right At Home could accommodate us at fairly short notice, they have been a great match for both my mum and my needs and I would highly recommend them.

On behalf of Leegomery Methodist Church Leegomery Telford I would like to thanks the staff of Right at Home for taking part in our Christmas Tree Festival. I contacted them by email to see if they would like to promote the business at the event and I received a prompt response, they arrived with the tree, decorated it and put some information on display. They were very pleasant and friendly and many people who visited commented on their well decorated tree. The Church will certainly invite them to future events and will not hesitate in recommending their services to others. Shirley

My grandfather is being treated by the lovely staff at Right at Home and I see how diligently and professionally they help him. They treat my grandfather and mother as family and especially Debby has been wonderful and so helpful. Great service and would definitely recommend!
