Sarah Shaw

Manager

Registered Manager Sarah joined Right at Home Eastbourne & Bexhill in 2021,  after having worked as a Registered Manager for many years with her previous company. With +30 years’ experience in care, she brings a wealth of knowledge, enthusiasm and great leadership skills to the role. Her journey in care started with nannying, and from there she moved on to a Senior Support Worker role in a care home in East Sussex. After further expanding her knowledge as a Field Care Supervisor, she had the opportunity to try her hand as a Training and Recruitment Coordinator and Assistant Manager, whilst completing her NVQ 4 in Adult Health and Social Care.
Throughout her career, Sarah’s passion for delivering outstanding care to her Clients has been her guiding star. Her compassion, good humour and solid understanding of the care industry means that she is an ideal match for Right at Home’s values: Quality, compassion, respect and trust.

Emma Davis

Operations Manager Emma holds a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care, as well as Level 2 and Level 3 NVQs in Health and Social Care. "I started working as a carer in 2010 and quickly came to realise that I loved the care industry, and that working in care was what I was meant to do.  It felt so good to be making a difference to people’s lives and the best part was listening to all the stories my clients told me. Following this experience, I then began to complete as many healthcare courses as I could, including an NVQ 2 and NVQ 3 in Health and Social Care.  These courses not only increased my knowledge, skills and understanding of the industry, but also enabled me to deliver the best possible care to our clients. It was from all this studying that I developed my passion for learning and teaching, and after 5 years I was promoted to the role of Care Co-ordinator, before joining Right at Home in 2017 as Deputy Care Manager.  In my current role as Operations Manager, I oversee every process in the organisation, making sure our clients’ needs always come first.  Fortunately Right at Home Eastbourne & Bexhill’s status as an Accredited Training Centre means I can still look forward to completing further teaching qualifications and passing my knowledge on to others."

Wendy Lower

Care Manager Wendy has a wealth of experience in care management, having managed a group home for adults with learning disabilities and challenging needs for many years before joining JCR (Joint Community Rehabilitation) and then later working as a registered manager in a mental health and dementia setting.  In addition to the NVQ Registered Managers Award and NVQ 3, she also holds the Assessors CAVA and has trained and mentored care staff in a range of courses during her career. She likes to promote client independence and loves to meet people out in the field, where she can ensure they are receiving the support they require and are reaching the goals they have expressed. Wendy joined Right at Home in 2025.

Rebecca Floyd

Training Co-Ordinator Rebecca holds a Level 4 Diploma in Adult Health and Social Care and is a qualified Level 3 Trainer in Moving & Handling, First Aid and Medication.  "All I have ever wanted to do is teach people the right way to provide care and support. Every day I feel like I make a positive difference, both to our Clients and to our staff." Rebecca has been with Right at Home since 2019; she started as a Senior Carer but quickly showed an interest in and aptitude for training, and moved in to the classroom full time in 2021.
