My mother spent the final 8 or so months of her life at Brentwood Arches, latterly in the Woodlands dementia unit. Her care was absolutely outstanding and the commitment of the staff to the contentment and safety of residents is unwavering. They truly care about every single resident, know their likes and dislikes, and make every one feel special and seen. The wing is filled with cheer and good will, with laughter ringing out and a sense of calm all around. She was truly happy these last few weeks. I can't thank you enough for all you have done for her, whilst also frequently checking in with the family and always providing friendly listening ears and frequent cups of tea. More widely, away from the Woodlands wing, the home is clean, friendly, warm, comfortable, welcoming and fun. The happiness of the residents is evident as soon as you walk through the door.

5* staff are extremely welcoming and friendly. They had a singer there today who was excellent. I think the lady who works there is called (paula?!) she is so lovely, getting people dancing. Thankyou for looking after nan ❤️❤️ lovely and clean.

Both our parents were at Brentwood Arches for under 2 years and to start off with it was good but then the quality and care slowly went downhill and our parents became unhappy. We had issues/complaints which to this day have never been addressed. This organisation seemed more concerned about the outstanding amount we owed than addressing these complaints which clearly proved how unprofessional they are and that we made the right decision moving our parents to another care home.

I was really impressed with the facilities, activities and staff I met during a recent tour of The Beeches as I am supporting an elderly friend who is considering moving into a care home. The Beeches gives the impression of being more like a hotel with a welcoming reception, coffee shop, restaurant etc. The residents enjoy a wide range of activities and now that lockdown is over, there is a busy schedule of entertainers. I loved the way the apartments each have their own front door onto a “street”. They can bring their favourite items of furniture and possibly their pets when they move in!

My fiercely independent Grandad fell over and broke his hip a few years ago and as a result needed to go into a care home for 6 months to recover. After looking at every single care home in the area it's safe to say that no where even came close to The Beeches. For someone who was completely anti care home, he really enjoyed his time in there. The care he received was second to none and he was able to keep his feeling of independence at the same time. Plenty of activities as well and visiting him was easy and always welcoming for us. I even asked how old you have to be to live there- I'd move in in an instant!
