Owner Hi I'm Damien! I have been the owner of Sonder Home Care for almost 10 years. I started as the owner and am so happy I did, as we have served and continue to support many delightful, local residents with amazing histories and stories to tell.

My role is to meet the prospective clients and their families, to help find the best care solution for them.

My name is Emily, I am the Client Experience Manager. I have worked with Sonder since January 2021. I started at 18 years old as a carer, progressing to now being a Client Experience Manager, being supported in every step along my career path

I enjoy working for Sonder as being able to support local residents and knowing we make a difference in their daily lives by supporting them to continue living in their own homes is such a pleasure.

Business Development Director  I'm Jez - Business Development Director at Sonder. My job plays a vital role in shaping how Sonder connects with the wider community. I work closely with the marketing and events team driving partnerships that go above and beyond traditional in-home care. I love collaborating with local businesses and charities to make sure our clients experience more than just care and companionship at home.

Business Planning Manager

I started my career with Sonder as a carer and I quickly realised this was the job for me!

I have worked in many different parts of the company, and I have enjoyed it all! From starting as a carer and working on the client experience team. My current role is scheduling all of our care calls, to ensure that all the clients receive the care that they require, with their usual carers.

I have worked with Sonder for nearly 4 years, and I love looking after our clients, now I deal with scheduling.

I love my job role, as dealing with day-to-day issues becomes a lovely challenge to overcome.

I love the environment and the team, as we work together to thrive and fulfil all of our client's needs.

Business Planning Coordinator

I joined Sonder originally as a carer visiting our wonderful clients in their homes. From the very beginning, I discovered just how much I loved the role—getting to know each client, building relationships, and making a meaningful difference in their daily lives.

I was then given the opportunity to support our office team, where I now help coordinate staff rotas, manage calls, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. I still enjoy going out to visit clients from time to time, which helps me stay connected to the heart of what we do. I also support our on-call service during evenings and weekends to make sure our clients and carers are always supported.

Carer Coordinator 

My role involves training and coaching new starters, as well as supporting and mentoring our current care staff by conducting spot checks and regular supervisions.

I joined during the Covid-19 pandemic as I wanted to do something to help, initially on a part-time basis. I enjoy every minute of working with clients.

I truly enjoy being part of the office team and working alongside such dedicated colleagues.

It is wonderful to end my working day knowing that I have made a real difference in someone’s life.
