All the Nursing staff at St Paul’s Carehome in Hemel are very good but Georgiana on the 2nd floor raises the bar to a new level. Nothing is too much for her & her dedication to each resident is second to none. She is very thorough & always wants the best interaction with her residents & the residents family. She is also very professional in how she goes about her daily tasks & interactions.

My mum ( Joni ) has been a resident at the home for 6 weeks after she had spent a few weeks in hospital. She went to St Paul's for rehabilitation which she definitel got and also so much more. It was a wonderful home and I have only great things to say . My mum was on the 3rd floor and the staff were fantastic, so caring and kind. The home was spotless and there was nothing that they did not do for my mum. She also had a physiotherapist who saw her 3 times a week, he was recommended to me by the home and again he was fantastic. She has left today and is a very different woman to the one that went in 6 weeks ago

I cannot speak highly enough about this nursing home. From the moment you walk in, there’s an undeniable sense of warmth and comfort that truly makes it feel like home. The environment is peaceful, inviting, and thoughtfully maintained, not at all clinical or cold like many would expect. What stands out the most is the staff. Many of them have been working here for years, which says a lot about the care and consistency offered. You can see the genuine relationships they’ve built with residents over time. There's a sense of trust, familiarity, and respect that makes all the difference in day-to-day care. The atmosphere here is more like a close-knit community than a facility. Residents are treated like family, and their individual needs, preferences, and routines are always respected. Whether it’s the cosy shared spaces, the home-cooked meals, or the friendly conversations between staff and residents, everything reflects a true sense of belonging. It’s clear that the people who work here love what they do, and that love shines through in every corner of the place. I would wholeheartedly recommend this nursing home to anyone looking for a safe, caring, and truly homely environment for their loved ones.

Recently visited this care home with my friend who’s looking to get his grandpa a nice place to stay and to be looked after well. We were shown around by Yasmin, who done a such an amazing job showing us around. My thoughts about nursing home was very differently compared to what I saw at St Paul’s, such a clean & friendly environment.

I visited the site, as part of my work at The Kings Trust. I was blown away by the cleanliness and all round happy atmosphere at the centre. Great visual aids (Christmas displays, etc) Lucy and the staff have a lovely energy, would definitely recommend to any family member in need of these services.
