Our Team

Sarah Castelow

Manager

Sarah initially joined SureCare as a care assistant and very quickly built great relationships with both clients and other team members. She demonstrated superb care skills and was soon making lots of suggestions on how to improve the care provided for clients, getting to know them and their conditions. Sarah was promoted to senior carer in December 2021 and again promoted to Team Leader in May 2022 before taking her first steps into management as the company Care Manager and is now the Registered Manager, having gained registration with the CQC in Jan 2026. Sarah has been developing the Registered Manager role to fully support the care team and further increase the quality of care for the clients supported by the business. In her spare time, Sarah likes to spend time with family and friends, regularly visiting her grandparents in Newcastle and providing support for them. She enjoys travelling and exploring as well as keeping fit through running, going to the gym and even complete the odd Hyrox competition!

Tina Jones

Tina established SureCare Central Cheshire with her business partner Kirstie after they met whilst working at their local authority in Cheshire. Tina spent 13 years working in local government supporting local communities. Prior to this Tina had a long career working in the tourism industry managing a busy restaurant, café, gift shop and small zoo. The customer care skills developed in her early career combined with the time spent working with local communities have transferred well into the care industry. Tina and Kirstie are both keen to enable people to remain a part of or reconnect with, their local community. The ladies had two objectives when they set up the business: wanting to provide outstanding care for their clients and creating a company that people are proud to work for. Their first Care Quality Commission (CQC) rating was Good overall and Outstanding in Caring, which showed that they are certainly meeting their first objective and 5-star reviews on Facebook, Google and Indeed show they are meeting their second objective. During the CQC inspection, a number of clients were spoken to and some said: "We have regular carers and they arrive on time"; "They stay for the allotted time and have never missed a call" and "The company choose their carers well, and choosing the right carers allows continuity which keeps Mum safe." Both ladies have also delivered care and enjoyed their time on the rota building relationships and seeing exactly what is needed for their clients from a carer's perspective. In her spare time Tina enjoys hiking, scouting with her role as chair of a local scout group, learning Spanish and when time allows getting lost in a good book – preferably whilst on a beach!

Kirstie Hercules

Kirstie established SureCare Central Cheshire with her business partner Tina after they met whilst working at their local authority in Cheshire. Kirstie spent almost 30 years working in local government in a variety of roles, starting in benefits and finally managing a wide range of community services. Kirstie used this experience, along with her qualifications in Community Development, Leadership and Management to be able to take on the role of Registered Manager so that the ladies could operate immediately and provide much-needed care around the rural areas of Nantwich. Both ladies have also delivered care and enjoyed their time on the rota building relationships and seeing exactly what is needed for their clients from a carer's perspective. In her spare time, Kirstie enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, going on long walks with her dog and tending her horses and chickens.

We are so pleased that we are using SureCare for our relative. The visiting staff are excellent - both caring and professional. The management staff are similarly excellent and have guided and supported us towards evolving plans to deal with a complex situation. Other features such as invoicing are clear and efficient. We consider them very good value for money especially in going beyond what we expected into, for example, a proactive role with our relative's health issues.

Since SureCare became the main care company to support my mum, I have felt reassured that the care she receives is consistent, considered and above all caring. From the initial meeting with the team leader I felt both mine and my mums needs were being listened to, and are now being met. My mum looks forward to their visits, nothing seems too much trouble and they treat her with kindness and respect. A big thank you!

Highly recommend - Surecare are a breath of fresh air compared to the last care company she had!! Call times are bang on and medication is administered and watched, domestic duties are taken upon and showering and cleanliness encouraged - very happy, 5 stars

As a former Manager of statutory social care service provision who now needs support myself, I cannot speak highly enough of the service provided to me by Surecare. Every carer who supports me is top rate. They are incredibly caring, friendly, compassionate and empathetic. If I was still working, I would happily employ them all. Management and organisation is also first class. Thank you for everything you do for me.

I cannot speak highly enough of the care that the SureCare team are providing to my Mum in Audlem. From the initial contact with Tina & Kirstie, easing Mum and me into the world of care (neither of us relishing the idea) and the selection and introduction of the care team it has been such a positive experience. Mum now looks forward to her morning and evening visits and sees all the Carers as part of her family. For Max and me living far away in Texas, we have the peace of mind that she has caring professionals coming in to look after her needs at the start and end of every day!
